摘要: The application of mobile computing and communication technology is rapidly expanding in the fields health care public health. This systematic review will summarise evidence for effectiveness interventions improving service outcomes (M-health) around world. To be included must aim to improve or promote use quality, employing any technology. includes: (1) designed diagnosis, investigation, treatment, monitoring management disease; (2) deliver treatment disease programmes patients, promotion interventions, compliance; (3) processes e.g. appointment attendance, result notification, vaccination reminders. A comprehensive, electronic search strategy used identify controlled studies, published since 1990, indexed MEDLINE, EMBASE, PsycINFO, Global Health, Web Science, Cochrane Library, UK NHS Health Technology Assessment database. include terms (and synonyms) following devices (MEDs) a range compatible media: phone; personal digital assistant (PDA); handheld computer (e.g. tablet PC); PDA phone BlackBerry, Palm Pilot); Smartphone; enterprise assistant; portable media player (i.e. MP3 MP4 player); video game console. No included, ensure that all applications services are identified. Bibliographies primary studies articles meeting inclusion criteria searched manually further eligible studies. Data on objective self-reported study quality independently extracted by two authors. Where there sufficient numbers similar we calculate report pooled risk ratios standardised mean differences using meta-analysis. provide recommendations guide future work intervention development research this field.
