Photophysical properties of fluorescently-labeled peptoids.

摘要: Fluorescently-labeled biomolecules are often utilized in biochemical or cellular experiments without further detailed spectroscopical characterization. This report is intended to narrow this gap and therefore presents the photophysical investigation of a library 17 fluorescently-labeled molecules, namely peptoid transporters. First, one structure labeled with seven different fluorophores properties examined. Absorption fluorescence maxima almost identical for free dyes conjugated dyes, suggesting choice spectrally suitable fluorophore applications. Otherwise, extinction coefficients quantum yields, brightness all strongly influenced. For fluorophores, e.g. rhodamine B, extent influence depends on itself. shown by comparing structures second part report. Especially side chain functionalities brightness. And finally, peptoids having two fluorescent labels presented, which show decreased yields. Possible reasons observed discussed.
