摘要: Abstract Geochemical data on Oligocene melilititic and nephelinitic rocks from the northern Eger Rift flank in Central Europe reveal significant differences to nephelinites basanites of volcanic complexes rift axis. The mafic lavas are more enriched TiO 2 , P O 5 CaO but have lower SiO compared alkaline Rift. major element compositions imply (1) degrees partial melting beneath than axis evident higher (Ce/Yb) N ratios off-axis basalts (2) different assemblages fractional crystallization. magmas experienced crystal fractionation olivine followed by clinopyroxene contrast early simultaneous below basin. In addition, assimilation continental crustal is associated with changes composition lavas. Nb Ba relative La Sr Nd isotope indicating mantle sources. zones region separated although they only some 20 km apart no melt exchange between magma systems observed. All probably mixing a deep carbonatitic shallower low-degree silicate melt.
