摘要: To evaluate the relation between use of oral contraceptives and incidence breast cancer, authors reviewed epidemiologic literature used quantitative methods to summarize data. Study results for any were pooled using a model that accounted both interstudy intrastudy variability. also explored variability modeled duration–effect contraceptive cancer. Case–control follow-up studies considered separately. Overall, observed no increase in risk cancer women who had ever contraceptives, even after long duration use. These consistent across study design. However, data combined from case–control revealed statistically significant positive trend (P = 0.001) premenopausal exposed longer duration. This was predominant among at least 4 years before their first term pregnancy (relative 1.72; 95% confidence interval 1.36 2.19). Additional is required determine whether this finding subgroup confirmed remains increased with advancing age.
