Motion vector processing for frame rate up conversion

摘要: In this paper, the effect of motion vector accuracy on efficiency compensated frame rate up conversion (MC-FRUC) is studied. The processing problem formulated and analyzed via modelling. A scheme proposed to improve interpolated quality at decoder. practical application integrating algorithm in a standard H.263 decoder for MC-FRUC also discussed. Experimental results show that 0.4-0.6 dB gain codec, 0.5-2 off-line can be obtained by algorithm.
