摘要: Since the early 1970s major emphasis in radiological diagnostic equipment development has been on three-dimensional presentation of physiological and biochemical processes a normal or pathologic state organs tissues. Four modalities that evolved were put to use medical imaging are: nuclear magnetic resonance (in vivo spectroscopy), computed tomography (transmission tomography), digital subtraction angiography, positron emission tomography. Nuclear (NMR) measures concentration nuclides such as 1H, frequency shifts relaxation paramters T1 T2. Computed (CT) provides information about an average atomic number density anatomical structures. Digital angiography (DSA) displays distribution contrast medium network blood vessels outlining characteristics vascularity given area. Positron (PET) gives data radionuclides structures under investigation.
