摘要: Several attempts to decrease sugar demand by introducing stevioside as a substitute in children's food products have been made, but safety issues were concerned. This exploratory study investigated the effects of low dose (SL), high (SH) and with inulin (SL + I) for 12 weeks on body weight, organ relative hematological biochemical parameters enzyme activities young male rats. The SL used this was 15 mg kg−1 per day SH 100-fold dose. Enormous similarities most observed no significant differences between SL, I control except lipid profile. Total reduction high-density lipoprotein increase observed, which may be considered clinically beneficial. Significant decreases serum tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase activity also all treatments. Treatment caused changes toxicological parameters. results indicated that, although higher than temporary accepted daily intake (5.0 mg kg−1 weight), or study, whereas (1500 mg kg−1 day) toxic same biological However, need more investigation.
