摘要: Abstract Background: This study evaluated the impact of surgery in incidence lymphocele after kidney transplantation (KTx). Methods: A prospective randomized was conducted during a 6-year period on group patients undergoing KTx and operated by same surgeon (CVS). total 280 were randomly allocated into two groups: (1) C (control group) 140 who submitted to with standard technique: implantation controlateral iliac fossa vascular anastomoses external vessels; (2) M (modified technique underwent modified cephalad graft ipsilateral common vessels. Both groups comparable for age, cold ischemia time, rejection episodes, presence adult polycystic disease, source donor graft. Results: Group showed an production (3 patients, 2.1%) significantly lower than (12 8.5%). Eight (1 7 C) required surgical treatment peritoneal fenestration. No allograft or recipient lost as result fluid collection but hospitalization shorter C. Conclusions: renal has been associated lymphocele, probably because vessels cause less lymphatic derangement those performed
