摘要: Gene targeting in mice (transgenic and knockout) has provided investigators with an unparalleled armamentarium recent decades to dissect the cellular molecular basis of critical pathophysiological states. Fruitful information been derived from studies using these genetically engineered significant impact on our understanding, not only specific biological processes spanning cell proliferation death, but also events involved pathogenesis human disease. This review will focus use gene-targeted study various models lung disease including airways diseases such as asthma chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, parenchymal idiopathic fibrosis, hypertension, pneumonia, acute injury. We attempt current technological approaches generating enormous dataset studies, providing a template for investigators.
