摘要: We reviewed emergency department records that spanned a period of 5 years at seven rural hospitals to provide more specific data concerning pediatric resuscitation. The purpose was plan better for preventive programs and help health care providers prepare these difficult patients. Patients entered in the study had either cardiorespiratory arrest or respiratory arrest. Although distribution by age similar studies from other areas, outcome arrests as bad worse (70 with 3 survivors), good (25 21 survivors) reported previously. Survival trauma accidents markedly (16%) than survival nontraumatic (44%). etiologies were dominated sudden infant death syndrome pulmonary disease but very few drownings farm-related fatalities. This should encourage increase efforts areas accident prevention. Also, illness needs be monitored aggressively treated effectively avoid much consistently lethal cardiac arrests.
