摘要: The concentration and nature of natural organic matter (NOM) influence the processes selected for water treatment plants. Water supplies containing NOM dominated by humic substances require careful design operation chemical pre-treatment step coagulation. Humic in untreated waters exert a greater demand coagulants compared to particulate matter, their removal is important health reasons because they are precursors trihalomethanes other disinfection by-products. Furthermore, coagulation affects performance downstream particle separation clarification (sedimentation or flotation) filtration.
