摘要: Conventional electrophysiological (EP) tests may yield ambiguous or false-negative results in some patients with signs and symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Therefore, researchers tend to investigate new parameters improve the sensitivity specificity EP tests. We aimed mean maximum power compound muscle action potential (CMAP) as a novel diagnostic parameter, by evaluating diagnosis classification performance using supervised Kohonen self-organizing map (SOM) network models. The CMAPs were analyzed fast Fourier transform (FFT). calculated from spectrum. A counter-propagation artificial neural (CPANN), (SKN) XY-fused (XYF) compared evaluate confusion matrix. CMAP significantly lower CTS than normal group (p < 0.05), XYF had best total 91.4%. This study suggests that can be considered less time-consuming for without additional which uncomfortable patient due poor tolerance electrical stimulation.
