摘要: Biological systems are resistant to genetic changes; a property known as mutational robustness, the origin of which remains an open question. In recent years, researchers have explored emergent properties biological and mechanisms redundancy reveal how robustness emerges persists. Several been proposed explain including molecular chaperones gene duplication. The latter has received much attention, but its role in controversial. Here, I examine findings linking through duplication robustness. Experimental evolution genome resequencing made it possible test tolerating mutations at both coding regulatory levels. This evidence well previous on reprogramming duplicates support
