Institutional bricolage in forest governance - local responses to governance institutions

摘要: Forest management by small farmers in the Amazon has been facing various institutional changes as a result of shift from government to forest governance. Although new legislation designed create opportunities for local communities and preservation, outcome environmental governance at level remains arbitrary or lacking effectiveness. By means case studies region both Bolivia Ecuador, this study reveals dynamics policy implementation These illustrate that policy, only one many influences on communities, often being conflict with needs, norms traditions.
