摘要: Abstract When Vero cells were incubated with TPA (12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol 13-acetate) and related tumor promoters, their ability to bind diphtheria toxin in a functional way was rapidly reduced less than 1% of the normal value. Upon further incubation TPA, recovered toxin, apparently because they became resistant TPA. Treatment Na3VO4 approximately same extent as treatment but reduction required longer time develop it persisted upon prolonged Na3VO4. ATP depletion prevented binding capability. Such also induced by salicylate or fluoride. fluoride, vanadate, altered carry out anion transport interfered regulate transport. The results indicate that sites for on are modulated Na3VO4, salicylate, fluoride process which requires ATP. possibility is discussed modulation consists phosphorylation sites, may be identical with, closely linked to, antiporter cells.
