摘要: Seasonal rainfall amounts, directly responsible for availability of water resources on a specified area, are strongly dependent the climate system. In order to highlight some features such dependence, generally circulation indexes based difference in sea level pressure between two geographic areas taken into account. present study, relationships winter series observed Calabria region (southern Italy) and North Atlantic Oscillation Index (NAOI) have been analysed. Firstly, correlation analysis precipitation NAOI was performed. Subsequently, influence different phases NAO has detected by composite analysis, identifying changes behaviour probability density functions (gamma distribution) fitted monthly rainfall.
