摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter reviews various types of protein expression systems and analyzes how targeting is incorporated into those systems. Protein within the context an appropriate plant, organ, tissue, subcellular location still a somewhat empirical science. However, due to intensity research in plant-made pharmaceutical, vaccine, industrial proteins, great deal information has been gathered on use combinations. The cytoplasm often inhospitable compartment for high-level accumulation but works well selectable marker proteins such as kana-mycin or bialaphos resistance. The process choosing plant system mechanisms direct particular site tissue cell are discussed. endomembrane necessary that require post-translational modifications. most common sites recombinant trafficking through include endoplasmic reticulum (ER), vacuole, bodies.
