摘要: Abstract Khusinol, a new crystalline secondary sesquiterpene alcohol, isolated from North Indian vetiver oil ( Vetiveria zizaniodes , Linn) is shown to have the absolute configuration represented by structure XX on basis of degradative experiments and its conversion (−)-γ-cadinene under mild conditions. It belongs unusual antipodal group cadinenes. γ 1 -Cadinene(XXI) Malabar lemongrass has also been belong same group.
