Synthesis and characterization of boron doped alumina stabilized zirconia fibers

摘要: Boron doped PVA/Zr-Al acetate nanofibers were prepared by electrospinning using PVA as a precursor. The effect of calcination temperature on morphology and crystal structure was investigated at 250, 500, 800 °C. study also establishes the boron doping various temperatures. measurements showed that conductivity, pH, viscosity surface tension hybrid polymer solutions have increased with doping. In addition, fibers characterized FTIR, DSC, XPS, XRD SEM techniques. addition did not only increase thermal stability fibers, but average fiber diameters, which gave stronger fibers. DSC results indicated melting (Tm) from 256 to 270 °C boron. peak patterns after further heat treatment °C, zirconia exists in two phases tetragonal monoclinic modifications. Moreover, alumina does transform into γ-Al2O3 θ-Al2O3 phase appearance resulted formation crosslinked bright surfaced
