摘要: Human activities are constrained by interconnected and overlapping factors of: biological abilities, time, space, social narratives. I focus on how the interplay between two of these factors, space narratives, can be mediated with cultural tools locative technologies such as Augmented Reality games GPS units. In order to understand place-based pedagogies affect learning technologies, like Global Positioning Systems (GPS) Games Handhelds (ARGHs), help connect learners cultures place examine experiences video in a deep woods camping environment. Drawing together research sociocultural learning, design, embodiment, environmental education, experiential human geography, games, this paper demonstrates ARGHs restructure activity (1) better place, (2) increase mediate their physical interactions, (3) enculturate them into community practice.
