摘要: THE EFFECTS OF SMOKING UPON PERFORMANCE DURING SUSTAINED OPERATION A SIMULATED DRIVING DEVICE WERE DETERMINED. SUBJECTS ASSIGNED TO NONSMOKER GROUP, SMOKER OR DEPRIVED GROUP. THEY OPERATED FOR SIX CONSECUTIVE HOURS. MEASURES TRACKING ERROR, REACTION TIME AND VIGILANCE OBTAINED. IN ADDITION, ALL COMPLETED NOWLIS MOOD SCALE BEFORE AFTER TEST SESSION. RESULTS SHOWED NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SMOKERS NONSMOKERS VARIOUS INVOLVED DEVICE. SMOKERS, HOWEVER, SIGNIFICANTLY MORE ERROR ERRORS THAN OTHER GROUPS. DATA FROM SUGGEST THAT MAY HAVE AN INFLUENCE ON CHANGE.
