摘要: Abstract The fibre orientation distribution in a material sample of short reinforced polyamide extracted from an injection moulded notched plate was analysed using two different methods, one based on micro-computed tomography and the Mean Intercept Length concept other classical optical section method. methods were compared terms preferred at chosen position, agreement found to be excellent provided correct plane for method applied planes ascertain best choice. Comparisons with method, which can provide full distribution, confirm that analysis MIL is capable capturing important information about orientation.
