摘要: Semen specimens from men complaining of involuntary infertility were cultured for Ureaplasma urealyticum and large-colony mycoplasmas. Samples positive ureaplasmas (but negative mycoplasmas) washed stained with a DNA-binding fluorochrome (Hoechst No. 33258) examined by fluorescence microscopy. DNA-containing particles size consistent found adherent to the heads tails spermatozoa as well exfoliated urethral epithelial cells when present. The number varied widely in different clinical samples, ranging less than 1% 20%. In preliminary study possible use this technique an aid diagnosing genital ureaplasma infection, we able correctly identify 13 15 samples prior culture.
