Assertiveness and Stress among Undergraduate Nursing Students at Menoufyia University

摘要: Assertiveness has emerged as an effective moderator of stress for the nursing student population. Being assertive means that you express yourself effectively and stand up your point view, while also respecting rights beliefs others. Stress is emotional physical response experience when perceive imbalance between demands placed on resources at a time coping important .The aim this study was to assess assertiveness levels among second year fourth students Meofiya University. Design: descriptive comparative research design used. Setting: Study carried out Nursing College, Subjects were (176) from (141) year. Three tools data collection used: (1) questionnaire socio demographic data. (2) behavior scale (Clarck Shea 1979). (3) Student nurse index (SNSI) (Jones Johnston, 1999) .  The findings indicated have higher mean scores than students. Highest percentage both groups reported high level stress.  There statistical significant positive correlation levels. In conclusion results revealed academic years' That levels.  Recommendations: Introduction specific courses aiming enhance acquisition skills, including management strategies in curricula.
