Structural Characterization of Gd 2 O 3 Phosphor Synthesized by Solid-State Reaction and Combustion Method Using X-Ray Diffraction and Transmission Electron Microscopic Techniques

摘要: The combustion synthesis and conventional solid-state reaction method was used to synthesize Gadolinium oxide (Gd 2O3) phosphor. Nanoranged Gd2O3 successfully synthesized by ignition of gadolinium nitrate followed in the presence urea, for method, boric acid as a flux at high temperature 1400 °C monoclinic cubic phase (Gd2 O3) phosphor obtained respectively. Samples prepared both methods were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM). crystallite size grain these phosphors are compared XRD profile analysis well TEM. Other physical parameters such strain, stress, deformation energy density also estimated precisely prominent peaks powder range $2 \theta$ modified Williamson–Hall assuming uniform model.
