摘要: Object Interest is increasing in the development of polyaryletherketone (PAEK) implants for posterior lumbar fusion. Due to their inherent physical properties, including radiolucency and ability customize stiffness with carbon fiber reinforcement, they may be more advantageous than traditional instrumentation materials. Customization these materials allow a system that stiff enough promote fusion, yet flexible avoid failure.
