摘要: Background/Objectives: Medicinal plants play an important role in human health. A large number of have claimed for hepatoprotective potential. The aim this study was to assay the potential hydro alcoholic extract on Carbon tetrachloride induced hepatotoxicity rats. Materials and methods: Hydro Artemisia aucheri at dose 150, 300 600 mg/kg administered rats 28 days. effect assessed by serum biochemical tests such as alaine aminotransferase, aspartate alkaline phosphatase, total bilirubin, protein albumin. Antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase catalase), malondialdehyde, F2α-isoprostanes reduced glutathione were determined along with histopathological studies liver tissue. Results: Serum levels protein, albumin, superoxide dismutase, catalase activities decreased carbon (toxin) group. However alanine increased. In treatment groups all parameters restored toward normal use hydroalcoholic A. aucheri. Conclusion: displayed protective against which demonstrated tissue homogenate serum. Also
