摘要: An endocrine-disrupting compound (EDC) is “an exogenous agent that interferes with synthesis, secretion, transport, metabolism, binding action, or elimination of natural blood-borne hormones are present in the body and responsible for homeostasis, reproduction, developmental processes Diamanti-Kandarakis (Endocr Rev 30:293–342, 2009).” These compounds exert their actions through traditional nuclear receptors as well nontraditional membrane-bound to affect neurotransmitter enzymatic pathways involved steroid synthesis metabolism. EDCs can be naturally occurring synthetic. A great deal research has considered impact on hormone-sensitive anatomic development physiologic function. Less work been conducted possible influences behaviors.
