摘要: A 76-year-old female patient with cold agglutinin autoimmune haemolytic anaemia (CAHA) is presented. The haemolysis worsened during infection. Earlier, the underwent an unsuccessful treatment steroids, chlorambucil , folic acid and heated erythrocyte transfusion. We treated her monoclonal anti-CD20 antibody Rituximab (RTX) weekly for four consecutive weeks. After three cycles, signs of slowly disappeared haemoglobin completely normalized. continued maintenance RTX every third month 2 years. in complete remission. This case report emphasizes importance use as a therapy immune cytopenia. Patients CAHA usually fail to respond standard treatment. Since very rare condition, only some reports studies reported on positive effects RTX. Although expensive, has many advantages, such quick long-term efficiency few side effects.
