摘要: The effects of implantation steroid-containing capsules into male nude mice on steroid concentrations in plasma and weight accessory sex organs were studied. Intact had levels testosterone (T) 8.0 +/- 2.4 ng/ml, while T (length 1.0 cm) a group with castrated resulted mean level 8.1 0.3 ng/ml. This was reached within 2 days after lasted for at least 40 days. After longer periods application (up to 75 days) physiological could still be attained. Treatment intact estradiol (E2)-containing implants 0.5 constant plasma-E2 (250 pg/ml) also lasting 32 treatment plasma-T 0.2 which significantly higher than that obtained castration (0.14 0.03 ng/ml). Up 16 E2 did not cause decrease the weights glands mice, significant reduction (50% control animals) organ observed. present data show this route administration hormones is very applicable mouse model.
