TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY INDICATORS: APPLICATION TO THE LYONS CONURBATION

摘要: This paper applies the theme of sustainable development to case urban transport and daily mobility inhabitants a city. A set indicators which simultaneously takes three dimensions sustainability––environmental, economic, social––into account is suggested. We present here results exploratory research funded by Renault Automobile Manufacturers, carried out verify feasibility usefulness elaborating such indicators. Values economics, environmental social are presented for Lyons case. These estimations mainly based on household travel survey held in this city 1994–1995. In end, should allow comparison different strategies within an area, but also between contexts, through time. The conditions generalization these measurements then discussed.
