摘要: Purpose We retrospectively analyzed the rate of graft detachment from 310 Descemet stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK)/Descemet automated (DSAEK) cases performed by a single surgeon over 10-year period using same-day complete air removal. Secondary outcome measures including primary failure, late rejection events, and steroid-induced ocular hypertension were also analyzed. Methods A retrospective chart review was on all patients receiving DSEK/DSAEK for any cause same at 2 separate institutions January 2005 to December 2014. The bubble used promote graft-host apposition completely removed after 1 hour. Descriptive statistical analysis report rates detachment, χ assess associations with secondary outcomes. Results Among keratoplasties analyzed, there 19 detachments (6.1%). higher during learning curve, but rapidly declined experience, 1.3% last 79 4-year period. No failures reported. 20%. failure 8%. events 10.7%. Two 6 (33%) who underwent trabeculectomy before suffered detachment. Conclusions as low can be achieved in removal shortly surgery. Factors believed contribute include interface fluid reconstitution normal anterior chamber milieu assist corneal function.
