Novel topologies of power electronic transformers with reduced switch-count

摘要: In this paper, reduced switch-count topologies for ac-ac link based power-electronic-transformer (PET) are proposed. The new as follows: a) three-phase PET with primary windings in switching-star orientation and b) transformer switching-delta orientation. Matrix converter is used on the secondary side of which demodulates high frequency voltage to a desired amplitude frequency. input power factor control, output control elimination common-mode achieved simultaneously. Abovementioned compared yet another topology switched multi-winding primary. Simulation results 2 MVA system presented.
