摘要: A network file server includes a first set of data processors for receiving requests from clients, and second accessing read-write systems. respective processor in the is assigned to each system exclusive management read write locks on system. Each can authorize access systems directly accessed by more than one set. Processing request that authorized continued manage be accessed. The exclusivity lock eliminates cache coherency problems, dynamic load balancing used prevent becoming bottleneck performance. preferred embodiment cached disk storage subsystem linked mover computers. has authorization ownership information plurality systems, maintains local locking access. receives client request, if authorized, checks whether it file, not, forwards another mover.
