摘要: Bioactive factors in human milk (HM) are crucial to the health of newborns, especially preterm infants. These compounds assist reducing oxidative stress that may occur as a result combined exposure supplemental oxygen and immature physiologic defenses. To identify components HM contribute its greater resistance compared with infant formulae, enzymatic hydrolysates were prepared, ultrafiltered, separated, analyzed for antioxidant potential. The activity [microM Trolox equivalent (TE/g)] nondigested milk, whole digested derived ultrafiltrates 80.4 +/- 13.3, 159.0 5.6, 127.4 3.1, respectively. An HPLC fraction denoted 23 (5274 630 microM TE/g) was obtained constituents identified tryptophan (Trp), peptides HNPI, PLAPQA. Scavenging not observed PLAPQA, whereas moderate associated HNPI (144 10.7 very high Trp (7986 468 TE/g). addition two formulas significantly increased formulae properties. appeared be powerful free radical scavenger naturally present HM.
