摘要: Life-history theory can help us identify the genetic and environmental factors that favored evolution of unusual human life-history, which has changed drastically in last two centuries. We discuss why a quantitative perspective provide insight into life-history review recent studies revealing how techniques have determined cultural changes altered selection pressures. These illustrate difficulty predicting evolutionary change future generations but nevertheless means to study responses rapidly changing world, with implications for public health demographic forecasting.
