摘要: The frequency of abnormal brain scans in patients with cerebral vascular disease admitted to a stroke intensive care unit has been evaluated relation diagnosis, time after onset symptoms, effect delayed imaging and the degree clinical neurological recovery. In completed thromboembolic infarction, 33% had including 39% those hemispheric lesions 14% posterior fossa lesions. Completed hemorrhagic infarction occurred seven patients, three (43%) scans. Of 14 either transient ischemic attacks or reversible deficit, two (14%) Twenty-seven percent were first days higher than previously reported. Delayed images confirmed initial interpretation that scan was normal 71% cases while 10% only views abnormal. significantly greater who died large deficit at discharge lesser residual deficit.
