摘要: Abstract The objective of the present paper is to compare scuffing life and break-in effect between unidirectional sliding motion (USM) reciprocating (RSM). normalizing procedure on under different motions also was investigated. results our study showed that RSM had a disadvantage with regard resistance. These phenomena are related change in hardness distribution residual stress due procedure. Also, it found possible predict from trend-line immediate loading tests case as-received specimens. On other hand, normalized specimens there an important transition point magnitude early failure infinite surfaces life. Finally, observed has greater influence than USM
