摘要: Part of a larger qualitative study to better understand how teachers learn exercise informal leadership in the schools and districts where they work, this article illustrates dispositions emerging teacher by identifying describing three possible prerequisites through lived experience examples. Eight practicing elementary middle school participated study. Data collection included written self-reflections, questionnaire responses, participant focus group. Teachers demonstrated disposition valuing students prioritizing their needs interests. They positioned prepared themselves serve building collegial professional relationships pursuing growth.
