摘要: The authors evaluated the impact of individualized breast cancer risk counseling (BCRC) on breast-cancer-specific distress and general in 239 women with a family history cancer. Following baseline assessment demographics, factors, coping styles, distress, participants were assigned randomly to receive either BCRC or health education (GHE; i.e., control group). After controlling for level, who received had significantly less at 3-month follow-up compared GHE. A significant Education Level x Treatment Group interaction indicated that psychological benefits greater formal education. In both GHE groups, monitoring styles exhibited increases from follow-up.
