摘要: Naturalized plants can have a significant ecological and economic impact1, yet they comprise only fraction of the plant species introduced into new areas by humans2. Darwin proposed3 that will be less likely to establish self-sustaining wild population in places with congeneric native because compete their close relatives, or are more attacked herbivores pathogens4,5, theory known as Darwin's naturalization hypothesis6. Here we analyse complete list seed-plant been New Zealand find those relatives significantly more, not less, naturalize — perhaps share traits pre-adapt them environment.
