摘要: Luminescent colloidal silicon particles are obtained by burning silane and slowly etching the product with hydrogen fluoride. Depending on their size, emit red−orange or blue−green light decay times between 28 μs <0.1 μs, respectively. The quantum yield of red luminescence is found to be 35%, i.e., much higher than 7% previously reported, 18%. quenched upon attack surface free radicals, oxygen-centered radicals being more efficient carbon-centered ones. It concluded from dependence wavelength time lifetime that mechanism photoluminescence undergoes a change decreasing particle size. luminescent exhibit amphiphilic properties, such as unusual wetting phenomena.
