Numerical investigation of phase relationships in an oscillating sessile drop

摘要: Forced linear oscillations of a viscous drop placed on horizontal surface vibrating in perpendicular direction are investigated. The problem is solved for two cases: (1) constant contact angle, and (2) pinned line. Phase-frequency amplitude-frequency characteristics the apex found first axisymmetrical mode oscillations. independence difference oscillation phases substrate fluid density, viscosity, tension, size as well presence or absence gravity force was demonstrated.
