Parent Feeding Practices in the Australian Indigenous Population within the Context of non-Indigenous Australians and Indigenous Populations in Other High-Income Countries - A Scoping Review

摘要: Although extensive literature on parent feeding practices among the general Australian population exists, Indigenous populations are generally overlooked. A systematic scoping review was carried out to map any source of showing in Australia context what is known about broader and other high-income countries.A search 8 electronic health databases conducted. Inclusion criteria were children aged <12 y reporting ≥1 child outcome related childhood overweight and/or obesity, body mass index, dietary intake, or eating behavior practices. Studies grouped according status for data extraction synthesis.A total 79 studies identified; 80% (n = 65) conducted <20% (n = 14) focused populations. a wide range identified population, most closely aligned with highly responsive permissive parenting dimensions.
