摘要: Single crystals of potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP) have been grown at room temperature from saturated aqueous solutions. The thermal behaviour has studied by differential analysis and confirmed X-ray diffraction infrared spectroscopy. When heated to 613 K, KDP loses its water content a transition takes place the tetragonal orthophase monoclinic meta-phase. resistivity found decrease exponentially with over range 293 K 383 above which it attains constant value independent further rises up 478 K. A 0.588 eV estimated for activation energy rotation group controls conduction dependent region curve. Glow curves gamma-ray irradiated single subsume peaks similar those detected polycrystalline powder. Energy depths varying 0.20 0.46 calculated various trapping states created gamma irradiation. Effects increasing dose cause an increase in number intensity glow peaks. Slight shifts peak temperatures lower values are also noted high doses attributed combined effect rate interactions between centres.
