Power-balancing instantaneous optimization energy management for a novel series-parallel hybrid electric bus

摘要: Energy management(EM) is a core technique of hybrid electric bus(HEB) in order to advance fuel economy performance optimization and unique for the corresponding configuration. There are existing algorithms control strategy seldom take battery power management into account with international combustion engine management. In this paper, type power-balancing instantaneous optimization(PBIO) energy proposed novel series-parallel bus. According characteristic architecture, switching boundary condition between series parallel mode as well rules developed. The equivalent model implemented combined constitute objective function which minimize consumption at each sampled time coordinate distribution real-time battery. To validate effective reasonable, forward built based on Matlab/Simulink simulation dSPACE autobox applied act controller hardware in-the-loop integrated bench test. Both results hardware-in-the-loop demonstrate that not only enable sustain SOC within its operational range keep operation point locating peak efficiency region, but also bus(SPHEB) dramatically advanced up 30.73% via comparing prototype bus similar improvement PBIO relative rule-based strategy, reduction 12.38%. research ensures algorithm applicability, improves SPHEB system, suite complicated configuration perfectly.
