摘要: Cortical control of arm movement emerges from the cooperation a discrete number parietal and frontal areas linked by reciprocal corticocortical connections. This parietofrontal network is regarded as anatomical substrate for mechanism underlying planning, execution, movement. The posterior cortex plays crucial role in this process. Parietal operations seem necessary coordinate transformation monitoring congruence between motor plans actual movements matching efferent copies commands reafferent signals sensory periphery, well online adjustment hand trajectory. These functions are basis interpretation disorders patients physiological perspective.
