摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects LED therapy associated with compression on chronic venous leg ulcers (CVUs). included CVU patients (n = 17, eight men) who were eligible for Unna’s boot treatment. Ulcers treated a weekly basis either (625 nm, 4 J/cm2) and an (LED ulcers, n = 14) or placebo treatment (control n = 14). total surface area relative ulcer area, healing rate recorded over period 30 weeks. Ulcer exudates collected determination local tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) levels. not significantly different between control (P > 0.05, Mann-Whitney U test) throughout study. However, indicated that non-healing resistant (n = 6) persisted in group after 19 weeks (P 0.05, test). results suggest improved effectiveness since no refractory observed 19 weeks. did alter secretion TNF-α nor accelerate wound healing.
