摘要: Environmental pollution has been increasing recently due to industrialization. Many industries use dyestuffs color their products. This work investigates the adsorption of methylene blue (MB), malachite green (MG), and methyl violet (MV) on alginate-coated perlite beads (AP). AP was prepared by a sol-gel process. The removal MB, MG, MV from aqueous solutions as an adsorbent tested using batch-type model. In order prove effectiveness study, it tried obtain optimum efficiency at level working depending mixing time (minutes), initial dye concentration (ppm), dose (mg/L), pH, temperature (°C). results showed that process reached equilibrium within 60-min period for AP. It found amount adsorbed dyestuff increases with concentration, pH solution. Thermodynamic activation parameters were calculated experimental data different temperatures. characterized Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) before after adsorption. described Langmuir, Freundlich, Scatchard, Temkin D-R isotherms. modified Langmuir isotherm applied explain adsorption, greatest capacity 104.1, 74.6, 149.2 mg/g, respectively. pseudo-first pseudo-second-order equations used evaluate kinetic data, constants are determined. best correlation coefficients well As result, claimed possibility dilute solutions.
