摘要: The elongation phase of protein synthesis defines the overall speed and fidelity affects folding targeting. mechanisms reactions taking place during translation remain important questions in understanding ribosome function. ribosome-guided by signals mRNA-can recode genetic information, resulting alternative products. Co-translational interaction ribosomes emerging polypeptides with associated biogenesis factors determine quality localization proteins. In this review, we summarize recent findings on bacteria, including decoding recoding, peptide bond formation, tRNA-mRNA translocation, co-translational folding, targeting synthesizing membrane proteins to plasma membrane. data provide insights into how shapes composition cellular proteome.
